Snowy days

Swirling around, making mounds along the sidewalks..perfect weather to sit in front of a fireplace with some hot chocolate and an afghan. It's been spitting snow and flurrying for the past couple days and I'm not ready for it. It's so cold and windy...maybe I forgot how cold it gets or maybe I had convinced myself it wouldn't get here til Christmas. Well whatever the reasoning, this weather makes me so cold and does nothing for my willingness to go to class. The wind is the worst part cause it makes it so much colder than it would be otherwise. Alas, there is nothing I can do. I must accept that winter is here and bundle up for four-five months. Fun scarves and mittens help, but *sigh*....I miss wearing flip flops.
