Classes started up today sadly and I'm still not ready for it. I keep thinking that I'll be able to sleep in tomorrow and I know that's not possible. Work is going well though I'm not exactly sure how this is going to go with school but we'll have to wait and see. If I need to cut a day, then that's what will happen. But I do need the money. Anyways, today's classes were okay..I had Philosophy of Law and Sociological Statistics..both of which I have a friend in. So that's nice. Other than that, there's not a whole lot going on. I may go to the lake with Lindsay over Labor Day weekend to see her grandma but that's not for sure yet. But I should probably get some sleep..class calls very early.

Things I Love
1. Rainy days when you're able to stay inside and watch a good movie or read and watch the rain come down, knowing you don't have to go out in it unless you really feel inclined to.
2. Sort of connected to #1, but the way it smells after a good rain/thunderstorm in the summer.
3. Music..listening to, playing, singing..pretty much any kind of music..i'll try it at least once.
4. Hanging out with friends and/or family. Being on campus this summer, I've missed seeing my family but at the same time, I've been able to be with people my own age, so it's kind of hard to say one or the other.
5. Books both old and new. Old books have that smell..go into a used bookstore and pick a book off the shelf..open to some page and smell it..it's one of the best smells ever. New books smell good but it's the promise of exciting things cause you just bought it and it's never been anywhere but the shelf. Old books have a history and you are the next or last stop along the way. Where has it been, who owned it? Mystery is part of the smell:)
6. Maps and figuring out how to get from one place to another.
7. Homemade quilts and afghans.
8. Making puzzles out in the porch on a summer night..or on the floor in the apartment.
9. Watching Miami Ink..okay so I'm obsessed..what can I say ;)
10. Being able to sleep in to whatever hour I want when I have a day off..not that I usually sleep past noon but it's just the fact that I could if I so chose.
11. Purses..I love them:) I have a few too many probably but there's a reason. Each season has a different feeling to it, so you need a different bag. Then there are some times when you want a bigger purse to fit let's say a book..now, you don't always want to carry a book around so you have the smaller, more practical purse that fits just the necessities. It's really makes sense so no eye rolling. Design makes a difference too depending on your mood. So you can see why I have a few purses.
12. Going on a walk with friends
13. My niece and nephew who are too cute for words.
14. Roadtrips
15. Tubing on the river during the summer.
16. Snowboarding though I wasn't very good at it.
17. Museums and walking around them.
18. The Cadillac Motel..rooms for a night or a lifetime hehehe
19. Fresh flowers
20. Wandering along the beach and looking for shells and rocks, hearing the waves crashing against the sand
21. Along with that, taking that first plunge into the water..so freaking cold but refreshing at the same time.
22. Seeing Memere Plante sitting in the hot tub when we went to Maine for the weekend..she's 90..it was really cute:)
23. The campus during the summer/fall..it's really pretty.
24. Fall in general..it's my favorite season. Perfect temperature for me.
25. Last one..well there are other things but I'll spare you..kittens. They are soo cute! How could you not love them?

So this weekend Heather gets to go to We Fest, the annual country music festival in Minnesota cause this woman at her work gave her tickets and I'm so jealous! If only it was last weekend..I actually had all three days off but no..it's this weekend, alas. Instead, I get to work lol and look at the pictures when she gets back. Oh well..what can you do? Someday I'll get there:)
School's coming up so fast. I'm just not ready for it. Definitely don't mind the whole getting school supplies and making my schedule, but the whole idea of going to class and doing homework again is not appealing at all. I'm trying to figure out how to graduate on time or at least more on time but I'm not sure if it's possible or not. Doing the entrepreneur certificate program may count as my twenty credits in something else or maybe they'll let me do that program instead of the whole twenty credit thing completely. I need to talk to my advisor though to figure it out.
Let's see...what else can I tell you guys about...oh, I've discovered the amazingness of thrift stores! They really are the best things ever. While they kind of have a strange smell to them, there's tons of stuff to look at that's wicked cheap! You can't go wrong. There's this really great clothes shop down a little ways from the apartment and I got a shirt for $1! Anyways, I highly recommend trying it sometime:) Talk to you guys later!
